This little Japanese Teaset made around 1900 is child size and was probably made for the English market as a nursery set. The Teapot is 4 inches high the pitcher only 3 inches, sugar bowl is in scale. the body of the peices have an orange peel blaze with applied glase branches and leaves. the blossoms suggest cherry blossoms or dogwood blooms. No damage
Lovely brown transferware sauce bowl in the Rose and Violet Wreath pattern. A repair to the top of the bowl, not evident when the peice is displayed and subtlely evident when the lid is removed. Three minor chips to the rim of the bowl. 7 inches long 6 inches height
This lovely English transferware platter has the pattern name, Italy on the back. the pattern name is enclosed in a cartouche. The Italian pastoral scene is sourrounded by lozenges of townscapes. 14 inches
Blue banded antique stoneware butter crock. The spot on the crock in the picture is not a chip. It's a glaze skip. Please note lid as been repaired with no restorative paint. The repair is a good one and will not weaken.
