These large copper pots were used for perserving jams and jellies. Rigid wrought iron handle prevented the pot from tipping with the weight of the water andperserves. Nice patina of age and use. Circa 1880.
German Kugelhof's are among the most sought after in copper cookware. Used in wood fires these peices became deeply blackened.
